Mary Irene Frausto passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., surrounded by love.
Mary was born on October 10, 1972, in Lamar, Colorado, and was raised in De Leon, Texas, alongside her siblings and father. She carried her roots with her throughout her life, staying deeply connected to family and the values she was raised with.
Mary is survived by her beloved dog, Chanel, who she loved very much; her children, Noe and spouse Samantha, her daughters Anita, and Nicole and spouse Jesus; and her niece Jovita. She also leaves behind her siblings Janie, Lucy, Christina, Arturo, Ruben, and Paul. Mary’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Leilani, Mariah, Davian, Nevaeh, and Ariana, along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anita Velasquez and Romaldo Frausto, as well as her brothers Jr. and Gilbert.
Mary’s children remember her as the best mom they could have ever asked for—a mother who tried her best and never gave up on them. No matter the circumstances, she was always there when they needed her, offering love, support, and strength.
She had a joyful spirit and loved spending time with her friends and family on any occasion. Mary was known for her laughter, her sense of humor, and her ability to bring smiles to those around her. She had a forgiving heart and a deep love for others.
Mary was a Christian who loved God and cherished her family and friends. Her faith and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home in Burleson, Texas. All friends and family are welcome to attend. The family kindly asks that attendees wear royal blue in remembrance of Mary, as it was her favorite color, as we come together to celebrate her life.
Mary will be missed beyond words and forever remembered with love.
