Marley King Moss-Soleyn

With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Marley King Moss-Soleyn, age 16, passed away on August 24, 2025, in Dallas, TX.

Born on April 27, 2009, in Fort Worth, TX, Marley brought immeasurable joy to everyone who knew him. A student at Trinity High School, Marley will always be remembered for his bright spirit, sense of humor, and the way he made others feel truly seen and loved.

Marley had a love for cool hats, long drives, swimming, sign language, and outside. Marley was the best helper, whether it was holding the door, or pointing to which directing to drive. Marley left behind memories full of laughter, love, and light.

More than anything, Marley will be remembered for his hugs—gentle yet firm, always filled with intention and love. He made the world brighter simply by being in it, and the love he gave will live on in all of us.

Marley is deeply loved and will forever be cherished by his mother, Roslyn Soleyn, and his father, Ronnie Moss; his brothers, PaKari Moss-Soleyn and Keron Moss, and his sister, Kianna Soleyn-Sanford, along with a wide circle of family and friends.

A celebration of Marley’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, TX. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering the beautiful gift of his life.
