“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Mark Allen Blanchard, age 68, of Keller, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, surrounded by the love, thoughts, and prayers of his family and friends.
Born on March 31, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, Mark was the son of Hazel Joy Nicholson and Bobby Henry Anderson. He grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he and his four siblings shared a deeply close-knit bond that lasted a lifetime. He also proudly served his community as a member of the Grand Prairie Police Department Reserve Force.

He found his true calling in hands-on work, a passion that extended into his personal life through his love for home remodeling. Mark also had a profound fondness for dogs and a lifelong enthusiasm for Corvettes.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Blanchard; his mother, Hazel Nicholson, and her husband, Billy Nicholson; his father, Bobby Anderson; and his beloved dog, Harvey.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Jordan; stepson, Kyle Lewis; two grandsons, Dylan and Tyler Jordan; brother, Larry (Becky) Blanchard; sisters, Sheila (Wayne) Patrick, Sharon (Eric) St. John, and Shonna (James) Goad; nieces and nephews, Lesley Day, Bradley (Lisa) Patrick, Kimberly Blanchard, Kelli (Chad) Barnes, Dawn (Jaime) Monroy, Stephanie (Eddie) Nandin, and Trent (Britani) Blanchard; and a host of cherished friends and extended family.
