Madeline "Pat" Mathews, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2016, surrounded by family.
Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bedford. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, with the rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Pat was a longtime volunteer at the Bedford Senior Center and St. Michael Catholic Church. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur "Pete" Mathews, and her daughter, Ruth Ann Jodzko.
Survivors: Son, Michael Mathews and wife, Marsha; daughter, Marsha Simon and husband, Jim; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and countless other people whose lives she touched.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Bedford Senior Center and/or St. Michaels Catholic Church in Bedford, Texas.
