Luther Floyd Warner departed this life on June 9, 2025 for his eternal home in heaven. He was born October 1, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Luther L. and Meda Pickens Warner.
He spent his career in the foodservice distribution business serving in many positions. He retired in 2004 as Vice President of Produce Purchasing and the Sales Training Program for Ben E. Keith Foods, Fort Worth, Texas. Over 1,000 sales representatives attended training programs that he instructed. After retirement, he continued to be active in sales training and foodservice product sales for national organizations. He served on the Produce Marketing Association National Board for a total of six years and was recognized as one of the leaders in the foodservice produce industry at the time of his retirement.
After retirement, he worked for Red Gold Tomato Products with Ben E. Keith Foods conducting food shows as well as engaging in sales training programs with a number of foodservice distributors across the USA for UniPro Foodservice, Inc.
He was active in the Church of the Nazarene, including serving on church boards and teaching Sunday School for many years. He served as treasurer of the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene Arrowhead Camp and Retreat Center. He was dedicated to serving in church activities across three states as his work career advanced and led to relocations.
Luther Floyd Warner is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Denton Warner. He is survived by daughters Leellen Everwine and husband, Greg of Alvarado, Texas; Amanda Skon and husband, Daniel of Burleson, Texas. His grandchildren, Amy Singleterry and husband, Brian; Chase Grantz; Molly Rose Warner and two great-granddaughters, Marin and Rose Singleterry.
Visitation will begin at 10:00AM and Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Blessing Funeral Home Chapel located at 401 Elm St. Mansfield, TX. Burial at Laurel Land Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX.
