Lourdita Ca Jefe Johnson

Lourdita C. Johnson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in North Richland Hills, Texas, on July 11, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on Valentine’s Day in 1952 in Tacloban City, Philippines, Lourdita brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone she met. 

Earlier in her life, Lourdita attended Yuba City College. As a proud military wife, she gracefully navigated the unique journey of military life, supporting her husband and raising her children primarily in overseas locations. She embraced every new adventure with resilience and an open heart.

Lourdita truly loved to meet and talk to people, taking immense joy in making others feel good. She was a master storyteller with a vivid, detailed memory that kept family history alive, and her radiant laugh was entirely infectious. A generous host, she loved cooking delicious food for people and bringing family and friends together for unforgettable gatherings. Above all, she loved to laugh, and her joyful presence left an indelible markon everyone who entered her home.

In her free time, nothing brought Lourdita more happiness than spending time with her cherished grandchildren. On occasion, she also thoroughly enjoyed a good game of mahjong with friends and family.

Lourdita is survived by her three sons, Kenneth Johnson, Jr., Aaron Johnson, and Charles Johnson; her ten beloved grandchildren; her three sisters and two brothers; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was reunited in peace with her husband, Kenneth Johnson, Sr.; her son, Malcolm Johnson; and her parents, Teofilo Cajefe and Zozima Mistades. Her legacy of love, laughter, and captivating stories will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
