Lois Anne Anderson

Lois Anne Anderson was born in South Bend Indiana, on January 4, 1933 to Fred and Lucille Entzian. She was baptized on Palm Sunday, April 9,1933 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Reverend Zimmerman and confirmed her faith at Holy Trinity on June 9,1946 by Reverend Daube.

She met the father of her children, Charles, while stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Sandia Base in 1953 and they married in August 1954. They had three children, Roslyn, Robert and Heidi. They retired from the military in 1968 and moved to Hurst Texas. She began working for Dr Ed Smith in 1976 and retired in 1998 after 22 years of dedicated service.

She enjoyed playing bridge, knitting and crocheting. She was very active in her Church, Peace Lutheran in Hurst Texas. As a member of Peace Life Fellowship, she donated handmade baby hats and blankets to John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth and scarves to the Presbyterian Night Shelter.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Fred, Jr. in October 2000, cousin Doris Dykhuizen, February 2018 and son Robert in May 2021.

She is survived by her daughter, Roslyn Smith and husband Dr Ed Smith, daughter Heidi Arwine and husband Jeff; grandsons Austin Williams, Taylor Williams, Tanner Arwine and Trevor Arwine; great grandchildren Karen Kate Arwine, Quade Arwine, Jobi Arwine, Kori Arwine, Leni Arwine, Chuck Williams and Trinity Williams.
