Linda Kay Strause, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, was born on July 30, 1947, in Muscatine, Iowa. She departed this life on July 24, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity.

Raised in Conesville, Iowa, Linda graduated from Columbus Junction High School in 1965. Her career took her to Grain Processing Corp., where she dedicated her professional life. A woman of many talents, Linda was known for her skills in sewing, cake decorating, and quilting. As a devoted member of the Quilting Club and Saginaw Methodist Church, she fostered meaningful connections with her community. Her warmth and generosity of spirit drew others to her, and she immensely enjoyed making new friends and engaging in spirited card games.

Linda is survived by her two sons, Troy Strause and his wife, Cindy, and Tyson Strause and his wife, Paula. She took great pride in her grandchildren: Jasey Strause, Tonielle Restivo, Todd Strause, Grace Allison, and Dayne Wilson. They will remember her not just for her delicious cakes and beautiful quilts but for the love and laughter she generously shared with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene (Butch) Strause; her grandson, Austin Strause; her parents, Don and Hazel Ramer; and her brother, Howard Ramer. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the memories they shared.
