Linda Joy Culp, 82, passed away on August 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on July 23, 1943, to Olaf and Mable Moe in Snoqualmie, Washington.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Linda was creative and spirited, with a love for art in her younger years. She enjoyed playing games—favorites included Kings in the Corner and Farkle—and was always ready to share a laugh, often with a good knock-knock joke. Known for her feisty spirit, she was never shy about speaking her mind, especially with her trademark phrase, “I’m sick of it.” Linda was also a strong and resilient woman who survived a brain aneurysm and ovarian cancer.
She will be deeply missed by her son, James Culp; her daughter, Debbie Laster, and husband Kimer; grandchildren Gary Green, Alexis Herron and husband Jacob, Austin Laster, Stephanie Brooks, Cameron Culp and wife Alexis, and Katie Culp; as well as her eight great-grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Culp; her son, Steve Culp; her parents, Olaf and Mable Moe; and six siblings. Her family and friends will remember her for her humor, resilience, and the joy she brought into their lives.
