Lina Ann Goodson Brawner, passed away  on July 23, 2026, in Burleson, Texas, at the age of 69. Born May 17, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, Lina brought light and warmth into the lives of all who had the good fortune to know her.

Lina was the beloved daughter of the late Bob and Linda Goodson. She grew up in Burleson, where she attended school and graduated from high school—laying the foundation for a life characterized by perseverance, devotion, and genuine kindness. Throughout her journey, Lina demonstrated a deep love for her family, her faith, and for those around her.

Lina’s career included dedicated service at Woolard’s Custom Jewelers, where her strong work ethic and gracious demeanor made her a valued colleague and friend to many.

Her greatest joy, however, was found within her home and among her loved ones. Lina was a devoted wife to her late husband, Michael Eugene Brawner, and together they built a nurturing and loving family. She will be remembered always as a wonderful mother and wife, whose love was unconditional and whose acceptance was boundless.

Lina is survived by her caring son, Shayne Brawner, and her daughter-in-law, Valarie Pope. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Gavin Brawner and Blayze Clanahan, whose lives were immeasurably enriched by her affection and gentle wisdom. Lina will also be dearly missed by her brother, Bobby Goodson, and his wife, Barbara; her sister, Mecca Frost, and her husband, Billy; her sister, Cynthia Fletcher, and her husband, Don; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom were touched by her endless kindness. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Tina Bleeker.

Those who knew Lina will remember her as the sweetest person. She loved and accepted everyone, embodying the very ideals she cherished. Her faith was ever-present—she loved Jesus with a true and open heart. Lina had a passion for aerobics, macrame, softball, and track, hobbies through which she formed cherished friendships and unforgettable memories.

A memorial service celebrating Lina Ann Brawner’s life will be held on July 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at NorthPoint Church, 2450 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather together to honor and remember Lina’s remarkable journey and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Lina's gentleness, devotion, and unwavering compassion will remain in the hearts of all who loved her. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends just as her love and generosity have for so many years.
