Larry was born at Williams AFB on August 24, 1966. Upon high school graduation from Amarillo high, he attended Texas Tech. While at Tech, he took part of the ROTC program, and after 2 years, decided his calling was with the Army and enlisted. He lived his childhood dream of driving tanks.
After his discharge from the military, he moved to Arlington, TX, he worked at Six Flags, while waiting to join the post office. In 1994, he joined the post office and worked there until his death, 31 years. Although he never married, or had children of his own, he was the "cool" uncle who would take his nieces to the midnight showings of movies. Or taught them how to drive.
He was pre-deceased by his mother, Mary Rita LoPresti and his father, Vincent LoPresti. He is survived by his sister, Lily Beekman (LoPresti), brother-in-law Edward Beekman, and his nieces, Emily and Valerie.
