Laura Anne (Jones) Pinson, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on August 11, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Laura was born on December 8, 1959, in Dallas, TX, to her parents, Derilda Jones and the late Lonnie L. Jones, Sr.
Laura led a remarkable life filled with love and laughter. She graduated from Red Oak High School in 1978 and went on to serve her country with honor in the Air Force and the Air National Guard. Her dedication to service was a testament to her strong character and unwavering commitment to others.
Kind and welcoming, Laura had a natural ability to make everyone around her feel at ease. Her great sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her. Laura cherished spending time with her family, always treasuring those moments together. Whether it was a family gathering or a quiet evening at home, Laura's love for her family always showed.
In 2019, Laura experienced the loss of her father, Lonnie L. Jones, Sr. Though he has passed on, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Laura leaves behind her faithful husband, Benny Pinson, her mother, Derilda Jones, her brother Lonnie L. Jones, Jr., and sister, Lynette Riggen (Doug). She is also survived by her nephew, Brendan Riggen, his wife McKenna, nephew Sean Riggen and great-nephew Parker Riggen. Laura's presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laura Anne Pinson's memory will be honored during visitation at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller on August 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A burial service will take place at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas on August 20, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM.
In the wake of Laura's passing, the world has lost a beacon of love and kindness. Her legacy of compassion and humor will endure through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Laura will be dearly missed, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Laura we love you so much.
