Latifah Kusuma, age 84, passed away peacefully in Justin, Texas on February 4, 2015 with her family at
 
 her bedside. Her death was due to complications related to pneumonia. Letty was born October 3,
 
 1930 in Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia to Kwang Swee Yong (mother) and Khoo Peng Khoon (father).
 
 She was raised in Indonesia, became an English teacher and later immigrated to the United States in
 
 1990 where she soon became a naturalized citizen. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, world travel, music,
 
 and her family. She is survived by: her daughter, Helena Schindler, (husband) Ron Schindler; her
 
 grandsons: Alexander (Lex) Schindler and Andrew (Drew) Schindler; and brother Jit Seng Khoo, (wife)
 
 Shirley Khoo.
 
 The service will be held at 11:00, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
 
 Saints located at 500 West Bonds Ranch Road, Fort Worth, Texas. Bishop Ron Schindler will officiate at
 
 her memorial service. Lucas Funeral Homes is coordinating the arrangements.
