Kimberly Jane Dawyot

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kimberly Jane Dawyot (Gauwain) on August 26th 2026 in Keller Texas. Kimmie was a well-loved sister, wife and daughter. She was kind to everyone and put her trust in her faith and knew that greater things were waiting for her on the other side. 

She married Michael Dawyot of upstate NY (a Yankee!) on May 28th 2011. They traveled and had the times of their lives until he tucked tail and ran (as Yankees do) even then she kept chasing him for some reason. 

Anyway, she loved fishing, traveling to faraway places and football games. She always looked forward to sister days and times spent with her family and friends. Sweet and funny always ready to kick up some shenanigans and then act innocent if we got caught. Never one to refuse a margarita, a trip to a Mexican restaurant or a stray animal (especially a possum). She loved babies and making blankets for them one after another, always creating beautiful things for people to cherish. Once you were her friend, you were part of her family and family was the center of her life. She never hung up the phone without telling someone she loved them when she knew they needed it most. Every day on this Earth was brighter because of her, she touched many lives and healed a few hearts. 

She will be missed by many.
