Kimberly Anne Burchfield passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026 in Burleson,

Texas. Kim was born on June 13, 1961.

Kim married her high school sweetheart, Doug Burchfield, and they celebrated their

32nd wedding anniversary on April 2, 2026. They have two beautiful children, Calliope

and Jacob.

Kim loved animals and was a wonderful dog and cat Momma for all of her life. She

enjoyed working in her garden and trying to get plants to grow from tiny seeds she

would gather. She was blessed to go on so many family vacations and saw so much of

the world. She enjoyed spending time at the pool, lake and ocean with her family and

friends, listening to her favorite music. Kim had a great love for music and enjoyed

going to concerts. She cherished time spent with her friends, and she was the life of the

party. She was so funny and witty! Kim was a devoted daughter, caring for her parents,

Charlotte and Wayne. Kim’s greatest love was for her two children, Calliope and Jake.

They were her whole heart and she loved them so much. Kim cherished the time she

spent with her children.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Harold Meadows, and her aunt, Camellia

Krause.

Kim leaves behind her husband, Doug Burchfield; her two children, daughter Calliope

Burchfield and her partner Brandon Fink, and son, Jacob Burchfield; her parents,

Wayne and Charlotte Berck; her brother, Timothy Berck and his wife Heather; her two

sisters, Tyler Meadows and Paige Hardy; her aunt Rosalie Barnes; numerous cousins,

nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and her devoted dog, Diego.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 07, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Weston

Gardens in Fort Worth. 8101 Anglin Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76140. In lieu of flowers,

the family requests a donation to your local animal shelter or to KERA TV.
