K. George White, age 78, passed away on March 16, 2026.

George was born on December 30, 1947, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Helen (Mayes) White and Kenneth White. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1970 with a degree in automotive engineering and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a Fleet Manager, working for GTE, Verizon, and Reynolds Asphalt and Construction Company.

On December 19, 1970, George married the love of his life, Sue (Mars) White. Together, they shared 55 wonderful years, including six years together before marriage. Their relationship was a true example of love, partnership, and devotion.

George was deeply involved in his community and the organizations he cared about. He served in the Air Force Reserves and was an active member of several Masonic and Shrine organizations, including Social Lodge #86 in Terre Haute, Roanoke Masonic Lodge #668, and Moslah Shrine Temple in Fort Worth. A proud member and Past President of the Shrine Clown Unit, he performed as “Pudgie,” bringing joy and laughter to many. His leadership extended to serving as Past President of the Texas State Clown Association (TSCA) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), as well as Past Director of the Royal Order of Jesters. For many years, he served as the Shrine Club Ambassador for Moslah and was a member of the Moslah Bedouins. He was also a devoted member of Fellowship United Methodist Church in Trophy Club.

George had a passion for life’s simple joys. He loved watching NASCAR and IndyCar races, especially the Indy 500. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, grilling and BBQing, traveling, and spending time outdoors—often sitting outside and waving to neighbors as they passed by. Above all, George cherished his family. He adored his granddaughters, was incredibly proud of his daughters, and had a deep and abiding love for his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Kenneth White. George is survived by his beloved wife, Sue White; his daughters, Kristie White and Ginger Smith and her husband Kyle; his granddaughters, Vivian and Amelia Smith; and his cousin, Sherry Scoville.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. A service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Lucas Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club, Texas.
