Bedford

Kenneth Edward “Jack” Bible, of Bedford, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Jack loved life and was a gifted storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor. He had a unique ability to make people laugh and brought joy to every gathering. His generosity knew no bounds; he was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to anyone in need.

Jack was born on August 21, 1947, in Denison, Texas, to Kenneth and Charlotte Bible. Born into a military family, he spent much of his childhood traveling the world, and many of his favorite stories came from his adventures in Taiwan and England. He graduated from high school in San Angelo, Texas, earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Angelo State University, and proudly served in the United States Army. Jack married the love of his life, Ricci, in San Angelo, Texas.  Together they built a beautiful life, living in several communities, including Sweetwater and Abilene, Texas, where they raised their children and formed lifelong friendships.

An avid reader with a curious mind and a lifelong love of learning, Jack enjoyed cooking, music, movies, and had a deep appreciation for Texas culture. He was always on a mission to find the best hamburger in Texas and never passed up the chance to share a good meal or a great story. Above all, Jack loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved.

Jack is survived by his son Scott Bible and his wife Kimberly of Frisco, TX; son Brandon Bible and his wife Cheryl of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren Nick Bible, Jordan Browning and her husband Collin, Jaxon Bible, Tyler Bible, Abbey Bible and great-grandchild Carter Browning each of whom he adored and supported wholeheartedly. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Pam Vest of Bedford, TX. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ricci Bible, and his parents, Kenneth and Charlotte Bible.

While his family and friends will miss him deeply, they take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord. His kindness, laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.
