Kenneth "Bart" Bartkowiak, 78, passed away September 19 in Euless. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Catholic Mass will be held Thursday, September 20 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bedford. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Bartkowiak was born July 23, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio to Walter and Anna (Sadowski) Bartkowiak. He married Helen Perdue on December 8, 1984. Mr. Bartkowiak retired from American Airlines after 31 years. He enjoyed dancing, theater and Cleveland sports.
Mr. Bartkowiak was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert, Leonard and Edward. He is survived by his wife; sons Leonard (Kaaeli) Bartkowiak and Michael Bartkowiak; daughter Susan Tashjy; grandchildren Gabriel, Benji, Jakob, Sarah, Rylie and Eden.
