Kay J. Eager, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 86.
She was born on June 19, 1939, in Washington, D.C. At the age of 18, she met the love of her life, Dick Eager. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared nearly 68 years of marriage, falling just four days short of their anniversary —a testament to their enduring love and devotion.
She was a devoted mother to her three children: her son, Richard; her son, Scott; and her daughter, Julia. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched deeply by her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Known for her generous spirit and the size of her heart, she cherished her family above all else. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories that will be carried forward by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dick Eager, her brother Jay Rollason, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her immensely.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8 Her life was a reflection of this verse, and her love will remain with us always.
