Katherine Jane Fullerton, maiden name Copeland, was born on 18 February 1938 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and passed away on August 18th 2025 in Colleyville, Texas. She attended primary and middle school in Corsicana, TX and moved to Ft Smith, AR in the 10th grade where she graduated high school. She attended Lindenwood University where she met her husband Tom Fullerton who was a student at Oklahoma State University. She and Tom had 5 children. After her husband obtained his Ph.D. in Agronomy, they moved to Latin America and lived in Colombia, El Salvador, and Peru. She then moved to Cairo, Egypt. While living abroad she had many adventures including going to beaches in the Caribbean, exploring the Amazon Jungle, Machu Picchu in the Andes, visiting the Sistine Chapel, as well as the Pyramids of both Giza, Tenochtitlan, and Tikal. Upon returning to the United States, she re-enrolled in college and received a degree from Morehead State University in Spanish. She moved to Plant City, FL where she was a teacher at Tomlin Middle School and Plant City High School. She then relocated to Bedford, TX where she taught Spanish for another decade. Many students frequently told how she made a difference in their lives and how much they enjoyed her stories and family videos from across Latin America. She was an incredible mother, wonderful wife, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She always had numerous friends everywhere she lived and will be missed by all. Jane was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, 2 brothers, and husband. She is survived by her 5 children and 10 grandchildren.
