June Pauline Miller, 91, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on June 25, 1934, in Baltimore, Maryland, to George and Lillie Scott. June was the youngest of four daughters, all of whom preceded her in death: Shirley Scott, Betty Hope, and Lois Scott.
June met the love of her life, Eddie Miller, at a roller rink, and the two were married on August 4, 1951. Shortly after, Eddie joined the United States Air Force, proudly serving for 26 years. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and service.
June and Eddie were blessed with five children:
• Debbie Nix of Bedford
• Sharon Gonzales of Hurst
• Randy Miller (Karen) of North Richland Hills
• Pam Carr (Robert) of Euless
• Brenda Smith (Mike) of Keller
She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law Mike Nix and Mike Gonzales.
June is survived by her five children and a large, loving family of grandchildren:
Staci O’Briant (Keith), Erin Morgan (Clark), Lindy Dickson (Gavin), Kevin Gonzales (Kelly), Stephanie Vasquez (Eddie), Melissa Higgins (Breece), Kara Prater (Ryan), Bobby Carr (Esmer), Ryan Carr (Alisha), Courtney Smith (Chris), and Shawn Smith (Brittany).
She is also cherished by 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
June will be cremated and interred with her beloved husband Eddie at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Service date and time are pending.
June loved children deeply and played a meaningful role in helping raise many of her grandchildren. Her gentle presence, steady support, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, an organization close to her heart.
