Julie Kay Stone

Julie Stone passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on Monday, May 19.
Service: 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Julie was a successful woman, mother and friend. She taught us respect, forgiveness and love. She was a self made person who overcame a lot of tragedy through life and yet still succeeded in business and life. She was the life of the party and always wore a smile! She loved her family, friends, cats and horses. Julie had a great sense of humor and a heart as big as Texas. She will be dearly missed!
Julie was preceded in death by her brother, Don Ellefson.
Survivors: son, Kirt Dennis, step-son, Mike Stone & wife, Vicky; daughters, Julie Doty & husband, Steve, Jody Trail & partner, Phyllis; grandchildren, Hunter Doty and Marcus Stone and other friends and family.
