Julie Ann (MacGregor) Needham beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, step-mother and friend passed away of natural causes at the age of 82 on March 5, 2026.
She was born in Oak Park, IL to Barclay and Lucille MacGregor on July 16, 1943.
Julie graduated from Wheaton High School, Wheaton, IL in 1961. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO in 1964 with a degree in Fashion Design.
After graduation, Julie lived in Sedalia, MO, Parsons, KS, Poplar Bluff, MO and Amarillo, TX, before relocating to Hurst, TX in 1972 where lived the remainder of her life.
Julie worked as a freelance interior designer for many years. Volunteer work was also important to Julie. Among the organizations where she volunteered her time were the Women’s Center of Fort Worth, Rape Crisis, DFW Airport Ambassador, and supervising “candy stripers” at a local hospital.
Julie will be remembered as a woman of deep faith and for her compassion and wisdom. She will be missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barclay and Lucille MacGregor and sister Nancy (MacGregor) De Witt.
She is survived by her niece Michele Witte and husband Jason, great nieces Ashley and Emma Witte of Bloomington, IL; niece Kim Anderson and husband Ed, great niece Ella Rae Anderson of Soldier’s Grove, WI; cousin Ron Debarard and wife Janice; step-daughter Jamie Martin and husband Clayton; and longtime companion Michael Rehm.
Julie’s Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on April 8, 2026, at Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Parkway in Irving, TX.
