Judith Kay (Littleton-Martin) Thompson, lovingly known as Judi, passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2026, at Mira Vista Court Nursing Home at the age of 86.
Judi was born on February 27, 1940, in Stockton, California. Throughout her life, she held a deep love for family, friends, and neighbors. She created a home where everyone felt comfortable, welcome, and loved.
A passionate gardener, Judi was a Master Gardener of 20 years and found great joy in both learning and teaching the art of planting and nurturing flowers. She volunteered faithfully through the Master Gardeners program at the Lancaster Street Mission, where her kindness and dedication touched many lives. Her love for gardening reflected her gentle nature —nurturing, and full of life.
Judi was twice widowed and carried herself through life with strength and resilience.
She was a devoted mother to her four sons, and lovingly welcomed an International Student from Ukraine into her family and heart. Her greatest joy was family, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four sons, Donald, Dean, Richard, and Kaare and her adopted International Student, Alexy, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, as well as her brother Stephen and sister Denise.
Judi was preceded in death by two spouses, Floyd Martin and Dave Thompson and her grandson Zachary Martin.
Judi will forever be remembered for her caring heart, great hugs, and steadfast devotion to family, and the beauty she brought into the world through her gardens and her service to others. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
The memorial service will be held at Lucas Blessing Chapel Friday, June 5th, at 11am.
