Joseph Vincent Smith AKA " PaPa Joe "

Joseph Vincent Smith, of Keller Texas, passed away peacefully at home on
May 22, 2022 in Keller , Texas. He will always be remembered as a
gracious man to all that knew and loved him. Joseph was born May 23,
1929 in Mount Clair, New Jersey to William J Smith and Helen Connely
Smith. Joseph lead an extremely patriotic life . He served dutifully his
country for years including multiple tours and was awarded numerous
medals to include a bronze star and purple heart, retiring as Command
Sergeant Major. He loved to crack a joke and Gunsmoke. Joseph also
enjoyed visiting the VFW, his dogs, of course the news and football.
Joseph is survived by Cyndi Bunch, daughter , Joseph Smith,son Tammy
Markham, daughter, Jackie Faulkner, daughter and his Grandchildren
Phillip, Jayson, Tyler, Casey, Joe , Christy, Westin, Colby, Dustin,
Elyce,and Austin along with 12 Great Grandchildren . He was preceded in
life by his loving wife Thi Smith. The funeral service for Joseph V
Smith will be held May 28, 2022 at 2PM Lucas Funeral Home Chapel ,1601 S
Main St Keller TX. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be

(Saint Jude's Children Hospital). He will be greatly missed by all that
had the honor to meet him.
