John-David Sebastine Ford, age 66, of Trophy Club, entered eternal rest on January 3, 2026, in Dallas. TX. He was born on October 21, 1959, in New York, New York, to Issac Ambrose Ford and Pearl Owens Ford.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in Haslet. Viewing will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
John-David was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran University in Austin, TX. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and a charter member of both Messiah Lutheran Church and Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church. He served devotedly as a lay reader at Holy Shepherd, sharing God’s Word with humility and reverence. His life reflected a quiet faith, expressed through service, love of Scripture, and dedication to his church family. He found joy in reading and classical music . He was especially devoted to his family and his role as a loving uncle.
Those left to cherish his memory and give thanks for his life include his mother, Pearl Ford; his sister, Juanita Green and husband Eric; and his beloved niece and nephew, Victoria Tubbs and husband Zach, and David Green. He was preceded in death by his father, Issac Ambrose Ford, and his paternal and maternal grandparents, whom he now joins in the presence of the Lord.
