It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Milton Daly, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on November 2, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, John lived a life full of adventure and purpose. He departed this world on October 12, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, following a tragic airplane crash that has left a profound void for all who knew and loved him.

A true embodiment of resilience and determination, John proudly served his country, enlisting in the Marines on November 17, 1968. He honorably discharged on May 1, 1972, as a Vietnam veteran, carrying with him not only the pride of service but also the wisdom of experiences that shaped his character. After his military service, he went on to own Dynetic Labs, where his dedication to his work was unmatched. He never truly retired, embodying the spirit of a wise patriarch of the family; he was always there to offer guidance and support.

John's educational journey began at Cody High School in Detroit, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with curiosity and ambition. He embraced every opportunity life had to offer, from flying and boating to skiing and hiking. His love for the outdoors and active pursuits was clear, as he sought out adventures that would create lasting memories with his family and friends.

Family meant everything to John. He adored his beloved wife of 52 years, Carol Denise Daly, with whom he shared life's ups and downs. Together, they created a nurturing and loving environment for their children, Tracy, Johnny, and Michael. John took immense pride in being a grandfather to Dylan, Maxwell, Chase, Daeric, Kyle, Emily, Collin, Payton, Karmyn, Cole, Gage, Jack, and Piper, filling their lives with laughter, adventure, and the timeless wisdom only a grandfather can impart. He also shared many precious moments with his brother, Charles Edward, whose bond will remain eternal.

John leaves behind a legacy that will forever be honored by those who had the privilege of his company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Perry Daly and Miriam McCarron; and was sadly joined in death by his dear son, Michael, whose memory will be cherished forever.

John's life will be celebrated in a memorial service held at Gateway Church in North Richland Hills, Texas, on October 20, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance of a man who lived life to its fullest and served others with a heart of gold. John will be privately interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors, a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated himself to serving both his country and his loved ones.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable individual, we are reminded of John's generous spirit and the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
