Joe Walton

Joe Walton was born in Dante, VA to John and Sally Walton on March 3, 1937. He was the 11th child born to their union, Uncle Joe as he is lovingly known to many. He was a Bible scholar that used to tell of the goodness of God. He was a talented guitar and harmonica player. During his younger years, he sang in a quartet, The Virginia Travelers.
He loved his family, especially in his older days when he was surrounded by the younger nieces and nephews.
We will all remember him for his demeanor and some of the funny sayings he had.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, John, Jesse, and Robert; 6 Sisters, Elizabeth, Pearl, Sally, Estella, Myrtle, Julia; and many nieces and nephews.
