Joan Tanacredi, 92, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on April 24, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the cherished daughter of Salvatore and Josephine LaRocco.
Joan was raised in a close-knit, traditional Italian family that instilled in her a deep sense of faith, love, and devotion to family—values she carried with grace throughout her life. She found joy in the simple pleasures: sharing stories over a good meal, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and building warm friendships within her beloved community at the Conservatory.
Joan’s presence brought comfort, laughter, and wisdom to those around her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, her kind spirit, and the legacy she leaves behind in those who knew her best.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Tommy Tanacredi, Robert Tanacredi and his wife Beth, and Jill Reddell and her husband Tim; grandchildren: Caitlyn, Cameron, Carson, Nicholas, and Joseph; and great-grandchildren: Hadley, Vincenzo, Zoe, and Riggs.
Joan was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Tanacredi, and her beloved twin sister, Jane Adamo.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
