Jimmy Lee Ewing

Visitation for Jimmy L. Ewing, 67, of Haltom City, will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.

Jimbo passed away on August 15, 2026, in Haltom City. He was born on October 21, 1958, in Aurora, Illinois, to Keith and Dorothy Stoner Ewing.

Jimbo had a way of finding joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved the rumble of a classic car, and his 1965 GTO held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed music, spending countless hours playing his guitar and singing. He was also deeply proud of his sobriety and took great satisfaction in helping others discover the same hope and strength in their own lives. Yet, of all the things he enjoyed, his family meant the most. Jimbo treasured his children and grandchildren and considered the time spent with them among life’s greatest blessings.

Those left to cherish Jimbo’s memory include his sons, David Ewing and wife Jode, Jimmy Ewing and wife Abby, and Ricky Ewing; daughter, Melissa Padgham and husband Adrian; grandchildren, Natalie, Taytume, Kaydene, Brooklyn, Danielle, and Logan; and brothers, Mark Ewing and wife Michele, Carl Ewing, Bob Ewing and wife Christine, and David Ewing.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah Ewing, and his siblings, Cliff Ewing, Gary Ewing, Kevin Ewing, Hollywood Ewing, Sandra Ewing, Stan Ewing, Brian Ewing, and Rick Ewing.

Jimbo will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for classic cars and music, his strength in sobriety, and the kindness he showed by helping others along their own journey. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
