Jim Grubbs, 67, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in Pilot Point.
Service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Jim was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Lebanon, Tenn., to Jesse and Margaret Grubbs. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Semper Fi.
Survivors: Wife, JoAnn Grubbs; sons, James Grubbs and wife, Kasey, David Lyle and John Grubbs; stepchildren, Bobby McAdams and Amanda Howard; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Grubbs and Steve Grubbs; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and many other loving family members.
