BEDFORD -- James Anthony Roan, 72, a retired corrections officer, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Memorial service: 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and son, John.
Survivors: Wife: Freda Roan; sons: Scott (Terri) Roan, Jimmy (Janet) Roan, & Chris (Lori) Roan; daughter-in-law: Lori Roan; stepsons: Gerald (Penny) Rackley, Ron (Sue) Rackley, & David (Amanda) Rackley; stepdaughter: Brenda (Brad) Welke; nine grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild, seven step great-grandchildren; brother: Greg (Tabitha) Roan, and sisters: Teresa (John) Turroy, Urlene (Charles) Willis, Kathy Roan (John Blue), Monica (Farid) Rebeiz and Marilyn (Steve) Griffitts.
