James Clifford Cremer

Funeral services for James Clifford Cremer, 56, of Haslet Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. Burial will follow at Bourland Cemetery.

James passed away September 1, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born May 28, 1970, to Quinn Russell and Gloria Ann Cremer in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

James lived a life marked by service, dedication, and a deep love for the people and things that mattered most to him. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 10 years, honorably earning the rank of Senior Airman. Following his military service, James continued a career of service and commitment, working for the Drug Enforcement Administration for the past 27 years as a Mission Support Specialist.

Outside of his professional life, James found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures. He had a great love for music, especially heavy metal, and could often be found enjoying his favorite songs. He also had a fascination with weather and loved keeping an eye on severe weather. His interest became such a familiar part of who he was that friends would affectionately refer to him as “Weatherman.”

Above all, James treasured his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and someone who took great pride in the lives of his children, Tyler and Lauren. He had a kind heart for animals and brought that same compassion and affection into his relationships with those around him. His love, humor, dedication, and unmistakable personality will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

James leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor his memory: his loving wife of  34 years, Tiffany Marie (Carter) Cremer; son, Tyler Sean Cremer; daughter, Lauren Renee Cremer, and her significant other, Matthew Jake Hodges; parents, Quinn Russell and Gloria Ann (Korte) Cremer; mother-in-law, Judith Ann Farley; father-in-law, Lonnie Rene and wife Susan (Donahue) Carter ; sister-in-law, Jessica May (Carter) Bottrell, and her husband, Jim Bottrell. His partner in crime and lifelong friend Sean Duane Hall, along with numerous family members, friends, and colleagues whose lives were touched by his.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Clifford Cremer, Mary Elizabeth Cremer and Wilber A. Korte, Geraldine Gladys Korte.

Though his family and friends will deeply miss his presence, they can take comfort in the many memories he leaves behind—a lifetime of service, laughter, music, love, and moments shared with the people and animals he cared for. His legacy will live on through his family and all those fortunate enough to have known him.
