Hermann Boeck passed away peacefully at home with family on December 4th, 2025 at the age of 90. Hermann grew up in Salzburg, Austria. Son of Matthias and Hermina Boeck. He, with his wife Ingeborg Boeck, son Ron, and daughter Manuela immigrated to the U.S after he was recruited as a pastry chef in Chicago, Il in 1965. In 1969 he and his family including son Burton moved to Des Plaines, Il. In 1979 he and Ingeborg bought the Lewisville Mobile Home Park and moved to Lewisville, TX which they owned and operated until 2024, creating not only a business but a true community.
Hermann had many interests. He was a professional bicycle racer in Austria, and never lost his love of cycling, and continued being an avid cyclist into his late 70's. He loved travelling the world, and returned to Austria yearly, loved nature, reading, horticulture, gardening (Master Gardener), wood working. He actively volunteered in testing local lakes to protect our resources and served with citizens on Patrol to help keep his community safe. He was very proud of his heritage and was actively involved with the Austrian Club of Dallas, where he served as president. He truly loved life and cherished people.
He was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Ingeborg, daughter Manuela Pearcy, and sons Ron (Diana) Boeck and Burton (Claudine) Boeck, Grandchildren Ryan, Rachel (husband Zach), Matthew, Jason, Alex and Andrew.
