Funeral services for Gurmail Singh Cheema, 69, of Haslet, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Cremation services will follow at North Texas Cremations in Fort Worth.

Gurmail passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, in Fort Worth. He was born on April 25, 1956, in Jangpur, India, to Hardev Singh and Surjeet Kaur.

A deeply spiritual man, Gurmail found great peace and joy in prayer and was an active member of his local Gurdwara. He was devoted to living a healthy lifestyle and took pride in caring for himself. He also found happiness in tending to his garden and spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.

Gurmail is survived by his loving wife, Charanjit; his son, Maldeep S. Cheema, and daughter-in-law, Natasha; his cherished grandsons, Agam and Zane Singh; and his loyal dog, Muddy Singh.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
