Glenda Sammons Seargeant

Glenda Sammons Seargeant passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, surrounded by family. Born on November 27 th , 1947, Glenda was blessed to have many roles as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Glenda married her High School Sweetheart Charles on April 7, 1966. She loved her family more than anything in this world having spent 58 years raising them. She loved being with family and would gather everyone around for holidays and family dinners. She was Mom to three children and Memaw to 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Memaw was her most favorite role and was so immensely proud of each of them, spending as much time as she could watching them grow.

Glenda loved to travel and if there was a slot machine near, she enjoyed playing them. She loved listening to Classic Country, and music from the 50’s, 60’s but Neil Diamond was one of her all-time favorites.

She was the “G” in C&G Plastics, where she was CFO for 34 years and always made her employees feel like family. Glenda touched many lives and was loved by many. She will be dearly missed.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mattie Sammons and her son in law, Michael Sulzer.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Charles; her children, Charles Jr. and Laura Seargeant; Kimberly and Andy McCormick and Regina Seargeant. Her Grandchildren; Christin, Amanda, Cody and Tawni, Ashley, Samantha, Marcus, Shelbi and Casey, Christopher and Lauren, Breanna and Leighton. Her Great Grandchildren; Halston, Tatum, Alex, Corbin, Kylee, Braxton, Peyton, Phoenix, Leighton, Layla, Charlotte, Kolson, Ozzy, Maddison, Lochlynn, and Baby Seargeant. Her Siblings; Donna, Buddy, Roger, and Sherry as well as countless nieces and nephews.
