Gilbert Barboza, 92, of Hurst, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in Burleson. He was born May 19, 1933 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Mary and Joseph Barboza.
Gilbert attended Cambridge Massachusetts College. He was in the ROTC and served in the United States Airforce. He was stationed at Carswell Airforce Base where he met and married Lilus Ann Mitchell on April 10, 1954 and they were married for 68 years.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loyal friend, and a distinguished colleague.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife.
Gilbert is survived by his three children, Marie, James, and Carol; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
