In the embrace of a strong and dedicated family, Gerald was a supportive figure whose warmth resonated deeply within the hearts of those who knew him. He married his soul mate, Jenny, on December 27, 1999. Together they built a loving home, raising their three wonderful children: Michael, Nicholas, and AJ. Gerald took immense pride in being a father, instilling in his sons' values of hard work and kindness.
Gerald was not only devoted to his family but also had a myriad of interests that brought him joy. He had a natural talent for fixing cars and often shared this hobby with his loved ones. His love for fishing provided him with moments of quiet reflection, while video games and attending concerts with his family created thrilling memories that will be cherished for years to come. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he passionately supported the Chicago Bears and showed a deep appreciation for baseball, often discussing the intricacies of the game with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny; his adored children, Michael, Nicholas, and AJ; as well as his father, Michael; his mother, Espe; and his cherished sisters, Marie, Dagmar, and Leslie, along with her husband, Mark. Each of them knows that the legacy of love and laughter Gerald cultivated in his life will forever remain.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel, located at 1601 South Main, Keller, TX 76248, on March 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating Gerald's life will take place the following day, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home with a committal service to follow at Bourland Cemetery.
