George was born in Beeville, Tx. on July 7, 1960. He was raised and grew up in Arlington, Tx. and graduated from James Bowie High School in 1978. George had a love for Classic Rock n' Roll, The Dallas Cowboys, collecting, antiquing, NHRA Racing and loved his classic monster movies and John Wayne movies. George worked for BSP/L&R Distributors since 1994. To get to know him, was to love him. George always had a big smile on his face. He wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need. George always had something funny to say just to see the people he cared about smile. He will be greatly missed with his loving, loyal and outgoing personality.
George is survived by his wife, Norma Ramos Garza; children, Samantha Ramos, Jennifer Ramos, Mary Pressley, Jennifer Gutierrez, and Alan Harrison; sister, Brenda Wozniak; sister in laws, Maria Llanas, Maria Reyna, Maria Velasquez, Rosy Llanes, Blanca Davila; brother in laws, Dan Wozniak, Martin Solis, Hector Solis; favorite cousin, Jerry Regalado; favorite aunt, Suleme Hagerman; niece, Britney Breedlove; and nephew, Matthew Bredlove. His “hound” Bailey; and many family and loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Andres Garza and his mother, Emma Ybanes Garza.
Funeral services for George will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave Burleson, Texas, 76028. Burial will follow at Burleson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 AM.
