Funeral services for Estrella Muzquiz will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Westlake Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Estrella passed away September 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Fort Worth. She was born December 28, 1938, in Ojinaga, Mexico.

Estrella found great joy in cooking and gathering with her family. Nothing made her happier than celebrating birthdays and holidays surrounded by the people she loved most. Her love for her family and the memories they shared together will remain cherished by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jose Muzquiz Jr. and wife, Maria; Alex Muzquiz and wife, Haziel; Homer Muzquiz; and Daniel Muzquiz; grandson, Aaron Muzquiz; sisters, Bertha Rojo and Minerva Carrasco; niece Genen Gregor and grand nieces Radha McNamara and Revati McNamara.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Muzquiz Sr.; grandson, Alexander David Muzquiz Jr.; and mother, Maria Castello.

Los servicios fúnebres para Estrella Muzquiz serán a las 10:00 a.m. del Martes 8 de Septiembre de 2026, en la funeraria Lucas en Keller. El sepultario seguirá en el cementerio I.O.O.F. Westlake. La familia recibirá a amigos de 9:00 a 10:00 a.m. antes del servicio.

Estrella falleció el 2 de Septiembre de 2026, rodeada por su amada familia en su hogar en Fort Worth. Nacida el 28 de Diciembre de 1938 en Ojinaga, México, Estrella encontrará su descanso eterno.

Estrella halló gran alegría en la cocina y en reunirse con su familia. No habrá nada que la haga más feliz que celebrar cumpleaños y fiestas rodeada de las personas que más amaba. Su amor por su familia y los recuerdos que compartieron juntos serán atesorados por todos quienes la conocieron.
