Elisha Leigh Bannan, 46, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026. She was born on February 4, 1980, in Alliance, Nebraska, to David and Leigh Ann Bannan.

Elisha was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched countless lives. She graduated from Fossil Ridge High School and later pursued her passion for beauty and creativity by attending and graduating from Tony & Guy Beauty Academy.

Above all else, Elisha cherished being a mother to her beloved son, Alex. Their adventures together created treasured memories that will live on forever. She especially loved traveling with Alex, exploring places such as Washington, and sharing experiences that brought them closer together.

Elisha had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests that reflected her creativity and sense of wonder. She enjoyed creating infinity mirrors, attending concerts, watching movies, traveling, and spending time at Great Wolf Lodge in California. She was captivated by all things Alice in Wonderland, a story whose imagination and whimsy mirrored her own unique spirit. Her beloved cat, Alice, was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Friends, family, and neighbors remember Elisha as a bright light in the lives of those around her. She was known for her friendly nature, welcoming heart, and genuine kindness. Many will remember seeing her smiling, waving to neighbors, and making everyone feel valued and included. Her positive spirit and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Elisha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delores and Larry Bannan and Barbara Rosebush; her uncles, Don Rosebush and Mark Bannan; her cousin, Jared Rosebush; and Brian Schoulda, the father of her son.

She is survived by her son, Alex Bannan; her parents, David and Leigh Ann Bannan; her sister, Jennifer Wassom, and husband Jeremy Wassom; her nephews, Austin Hardaway and David Parnell; her niece, Kayleigh Wassom; her grandfather, George Rosebush; her beloved cat, Alice; as well as many extended family members and countless dear friends.

Elisha's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, laughter, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Elisha frequently supported and cared about deeply.
