Waxahachie -- Ken McMinn passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy. 287 Business, in Waxahachie. Additional services and interment will take place in Brentwood, MD.
Ken was born in Port Neches to John and Elma McMinn and was retired from Morton International and R.T. French Co. He married Edith Nylund in 1947 and they had a daughter, Kris. Edith preceded him in death in 2007.
Survivors: Daughter, Kris Mitchell and her husband, Dennis; granddaughter, Sammie Lamb; stepgrandchildren, Alex and Lauren Mitchell; nephew, Jack Nylund; other nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; along with his loving caretaker, Kathleen Keith.
