Doyce Fleeton Welch

A Celebration of Life honoring Doyce Fleeton Welch, 66, of Haltom City, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.

Fleeton passed away surrounded by his family on June 21, 2026, in Fort Worth. He was born on February 10, 1960, in Athens, Texas, to Norfleeton and Nannie Jo Welch.

Fleeton's greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent with them, whether attending their activities, watching them play, or simply enjoying time together. His love for his family was unwavering, and the memories he created with them will be cherished forever.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Kathy Welch; his daughters, Melinda Elliott and her husband, Russel, Chelsea Kerestine and her husband, Phillip, and Sam Duran and her husband, Jorge; his brother, Marlin Welch; his sisters, Patti Bruton and Kathie Powers; his beloved grandchildren, Abby Elliott, Lucas Kerestine, and Logan Kerestine; and two precious grandchildren who are on the way.

Fleeton was preceded in death by his parents, Norfleeton and Nannie Jo Welch.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, devotion, and the importance of family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
