Donna Ruth Nolt

Donna Ruth Derr Holder Nolt “Nonna” resident of Burleson, passed peacefully away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 63.

Donna was born June 11, 1960, in Houston, Texas, she was raised in Burleson, Texas, and graduated from Burleson High School in 1978. Donna loved children and all children loved her, she was “Nonna” or “Aunt Donna” to so many. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her best friends of 50+ years. The type of friendship where you wouldn’t talk for a while and then when you would be on the phone for hours catching up. Donna had the most contagious smile and a laugh that would make your day. She was upbeat positive, seeing the best in everyone around her. She never knew a stranger, she could make forever friendships with just a conversation, and she was always trying to put a positive light in everyone’s eyes. Donna was like her mom, Hazel, she was neutral in difficult situations, she was on everyone’s side.

Survived by: Daughter, Jaclyn (Chad) Lee, Sons, James Holder, Brent Nolt Jr., Paul Nolt. Grandchildren; Grandsons, Ian Holder, Brayden Reaves, Christian Lee, and James Holder Jr. Granddaughters: Kimberly (Tylor) Garza, Kylee Holder, Brynleigh Stevens, Hazeleigh Stevens, Athena Matthews, and Breanna Holder. Great-granddaughter: Haven Garza.

Brothers: Womb-mate Danny (Karen) Derr, David (Leesa) Derr
Sisters: Gina (Richard) Morales, Mary (Doug) Elston, and Lisa Jones.
Many nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends who were “family” who will forever miss her existence.
Preceded in death by her parents: JJ and Hazel Jones.
