Dolly O'Dara Crow

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dolly Matthias Crow, a woman of immense creativity and boundless laughter. Born to Joseph Walter Matthias and Nettie Chloreé Bounds in Marshall, Texas on May 10, 1940, Dolly went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2026. Loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend, she touched many lives with her boundless love, generous hospitality, great food, easy laughter, and constant prayers.

She is preceded in death by her 2 nd husband, Max Crow and by her brother, James Stephen Matthias III.

She is survived by her daughters Terry King and Sherry Daniels; her son-in-law, Darren King; her 7 grandchildren, Elise & Matt Solomon, Erin King, Brittney & Brandin LeBlanc, David Tompkins, and Emily Daniels; and her 4 great grandchildren, Carson LeBlanc, Orrin LeBlanc, Natalie LeBlanc, Ezekiel Solomon, and Jackson Inman.

She was an avid reader, amazing cook and creative artist who shared an “out-of-the-box” creativity in all she did. She had a keen mind and a caring heart full of compassion and was an encourager and a light to those around her.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
