David was born February 11, 1961 to James and Emogene Travis in Jacksonville, Florida.
He had many hobbies including, hunting, fishing, and most of all, music. He could play the guitar, fiddle, and banjo.
Preceded in death by his father, James.
Survivors: Wife, Lan Xia; daughter, Naomi; mother, Emogene; sister, Linda and her husband, Hal; older brother, Alan Travis and his wife, Joanne; and nephews, Justin and Blake.
