David L Kwasigroch, 78 years old of Fort Worth Texas passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday May 6th. Church services will be on May 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller Texas. Burial will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
David was born April 2nd, 1947, in Chicago Heights Illinois. He graduated from Bloom High School in Chicago Heights Illinois in 1965. David proudly served his country in the United States Army from May 13th, 1966, to May 10th, 1968, when his was Honorably Discharged. He was awarded the Bronze Star as well as the Purple Heart for his service. David continued his service as a Chicago Heights firefighter. He joined the department in 1968 and retired as a Captain in 1998.
David loved golfing, fishing, swimming and spending time with his family. David was proceeded in death by his parents, his 6 siblings, his son Lawrence Kwasigroch, and his grandson Jeffery Spain. David is survived by his wife of 56 years Carlene Kwasigroch. He is also survived by his children Carl (Kathryn) Kwasigroch, Rochelle (Steven) Moore, and James Kwasigroch. As well as 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
David will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering patriotism, and love for his family. His smile and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Wounded Warriors fund or the ASPCA where David donated for years. Friends and family are invited to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on May 22, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
