Daniel Taylor, 36, of Burleson, Texas, left us too soon. Standing at 6’7”, Daniel was a towering presence in every sense—physically, intellectually, and in the lives of the people he loved.
Daniel played many roles throughout his life, but no matter the situation, he approached it with a deep baritone laugh, a sharp mind, and a heart that surprised people beneath his rough-around-the-edges humor. He could debate anyone on anything yet still see both sides with clarity and fairness. His relentless curiosity meant that if he stumbled across something he didn’t know, he had to look it up immediately. His thirst for knowledge was one of his greatest qualities, and he shared what he learned freely, always ready with advice, insight, or a spirited discussion.
Daniel had a passion for cooking and found joy in preparing meals for friends and family, filling rooms with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of good food. He loved to travel, explore new places, and experience the world with the same curiosity that drove every part of his life.
He was a loyal, dependable friend, someone who could always be counted on, no matter the hour or need.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Julie Taylor. He is preceded in death by his father, David Taylor. For the past two years, he shared his life with his girlfriend, Tiffany, and her three-year-old, Stirling, who brought him great joy and a sense of family.
Daniel will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, argued with him, laughed with him, and loved him.
