Daniel Howard Paulsen

Daniel H. Paulsen passed away on May 27, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on December 12, 1968, in Staten Island, New York, to Paul and Angel Panzera Paulsen.

Danny lived life with enthusiasm, humor, and a heart that drew people to him. He was kind, energetic, and unapologetically honest—the kind of person who would tell you exactly what he thought, but always with genuine care and good intentions. His laughter was contagious, his presence unforgettable, and he had a way of making every gathering a little brighter.

A devoted sports fan, Danny rarely missed a chance to cheer on his beloved New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. He was an exceptionally talented poker player whose skill, determination, and love of the game led him to victories in several world tournaments. A true numbers guy at heart, Danny had a remarkable ability to find meaning, patterns, and connections in the numbers that surrounded him.

Danny was also a legend in the car business, where he built a lasting legacy through decades of hard work, integrity, and dedication, he had a reputation for getting things done when others couldn't. Whether it was closing a deal, solving a problem, or helping someone succeed, people knew they could count on Danny to see things through to the end.

He loved playing cards, amazing friends and family with magic tricks, and creating moments filled with laughter and joy. No matter what he was doing, Danny brought energy, confidence, and excitement wherever he went.

Above all else, Danny's greatest love was his family. Nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with his wife and his daughter, Brooklyn, who were the center of his world and the source of his greatest pride and happiness. The love he shared with them, along with the countless lives he touched through his kindness, honesty, and generosity, will remain a lasting part of his legacy and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survived By A Loving Family, His loving wife, Liela; of almost 19 years, His beautiful daughter, Brooklyn (6), His mother, Angel Panzera; his brothers, Paul Paulsen, Vincent Paulsen (wife, Beth), Michael Paulsen; and his sisters, Catherine Gilstein (husband, Keith) and Jennifer Paulsen. He also leaves behind extended family members and many friends who will miss his warmth, humor, and generous spirit.
