Dana Howard White was born September 30, 1947. His parents were Jack Dayton White Sr. and Jesse LaRue Daniels White. He was born in Goose Creek, Texas and had two siblings Jack Jr., and Sharon LaRue. He attended Weatherford schools, followed by Baylor University and graduated from Texas Christian University. His hobbies included playing the guitar, woodworking, making RC airplanes, and he always enjoyed Saturday “pancakes with Pop,” where all of his children and grandchildren were invited and encouraged to join him for breakfast. He was married on May 18, 1971, to the love of his life Susan Schreiner White.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan, his sister Sharon, his children Amy Johnson and her husband Clay, Scott White and his wife Anna, and Jennifer Castillo and her husband Franklin. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Avery, Cooper and Grant Johnson, Maran and Landry White and Marabella Castillo, as well as many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

He passed away from pancreatic cancer on September 24, 2025, just days before his 78th birthday. It took his life, but it never stole his joy.

Services will be at the Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas at 10 AM on October 13, 2025. If you would like to give a donation, please feel free to do so to pancreatic cancer research in lieu of flowers.
